![]() Bucking the trend Posted by Grosvenor Construction on 23rd February 2011. Grosvenor Construction Ltd, who are specialists in historic building conservation, have bucked the recessionary trend with their move to new premises on a one acre site.
The site allows for Grosvenor’s Masonry Division to expand and stock top quality quarry block carefully sourced from around the UK. The workshops house state of the art sawing and profiling machinery, complimented by the traditional craft skills of banker masonry and stone carving.
Rory Moore, Director, says: “This is the final jewel in the crown. After achieving the coveted CSCS Gold Heritage Skills cards for our operatives, it was imperative that we had a location which would reflect such achievement and be complimentary to the wide range of skill sets that we have nurtured over time”.
It is heartening news to see a company with traditional values doing so well in such austere times. Grosvenor are even looking to expand their workforce with a Site Foreman on the cards.
Rory Moore continues “We are passionate about our work and we are committed to providing the best possible service to ensure that our built heritage can be enjoyed for generations to come.”
Grosvenor Construction are a specialist building conservation company working within the United Kingdom. Their vast wealth of experience ensures that they are firmly anchored within the full spectrum of the historic environment. Quality craftsmanship in all fields is guaranteed due to Grosvenor’s continuous framework of personal development at practitioner and professional levels.
