 South Coast Roof Training Open day Posted by South Coast Roof Training on 21st March 2011.
South Coast Roof Training Ltd, based in Littlehampton, West Sussex, is the only dedicated roof training facility in the south and offers a full range of training programmes.
The centre is currently piloting a new Heritage Skills NVQ Level 3 (Specialist Apprenticeship Programme) in Roofing, through Construction Skills and endorsed by English Heritage.
The company is holding an open day on Thursday 24th March, 10.00 am – 3.30 pm, to which interested parties are invited to attend: e.g. architects, conservation officers, surveyors, contractors, home owners of listed properties.
You will be able to see various aspects of the course, including random slating, clay tiling and lime torching, and be able to talk to the tutor and students.
