ProjectBook hosts Heritage Together Event following Listed Property Show

Posted by Russ Dalton on 16th March 2011.

ProjectBook hosted another Heritage Together event on 19th February 2011, following a successful day at the Listed Property Show. The networking evening was held at the Hilton Olympia near the exhibition centre and attracted over 120 exhibitors, attendees, twitterers and of course many heritage professionals.

Despite a long day at the show people were keen to join us and meet as many new heritage contacts as possible! We saw an excellent turnout from ProjectBook members and saw many familiar faces from past events and social media connections. Attendees represented a wide variety of crafts and professions from woodcarvers to house historians, garden designers to period property renovators joining us from all over the UK.

The event commenced immediately following the end of the Listed Property Show and guests flooded into our function room for a time of networking, refreshment and a well deserved rest after the show. The event then got underway with James Mott, ProjectBook founder giving an address then opening the floor for more networking. The event was extremely well received with many people requesting follow up meetings and reporting meeting lots of useful contacts. Comments included:

“Always a fantastic opportunity to meet and chat with like-minded people with a passion for heritage property! Love it”

“A well organised event – good networking opportunity”

“A great opportunity for a recent graduate to meet people”
