![]() ProjectBook Site Upgrades Posted by James Mott on 24th March 2010. Welcome to ProjectBooks first blog post. ProjectBook’s ‘state of the art’ website was launched on the 1st January 2009. As part of our commitment to members and site users to offer the best resources available, we have recently reviewed the website and added new features along with improving some of the existing functions. Here is a summary of the main upgrades and improvements. For site users Better navigation: we have increased the size of the footer to include links to everywhere on the site New front page layout with quick links to the main site features New Events section: featuring which quick searches for Shows, Courses, Seminars, Open Days, Exhibitions and CPD Lectures. Media Centre: includes our blog, articles & our press & pr page New Resources section – includes a bookshop, home insurance, and more About us: new website overview – view the website’s main features conveniently located on one page. Additional read about our vision, collaborations & future goals. Add comments & have your say: log in & comment on blogs, articles, entries and more RSS feeds for all main site features
Enhanced entries: now with social media links, a location map and project/client list- to view a completed sample entry, click on the thumbnail No website – no problem !! For members who do not currently have a website, you can now buy your own web domain name such as www.mybusiness.com and use your entry in the Heritage Register and or Products Directory as your website destination FREE. Members blog: stimulate discussion and submit your own blog article – contact our office for details.
MyProjectBook Members Login Events: add your events, using the new ‘Events’ Tab Updating your entry: now you can add multiple awards, organisation memberships & projects. On login select ‘Listings’ & ‘edit entry’ Benefits: Locate a growing list of member benefits, such as preferential insurance rates from Aviva, book discounts and more.
