The Heritage Register is vetted to help ensure that the right people are working on our nation’s pre 1919 Period & Listed buildings. The register hosts companies of all sizes from sole practitioners to large consultant practices. All entries to the Heritage register go through a vetting process to maintain a high standard of entries.
Your Membership - £380 plus VAT
Yearly membership is at a cost of £380 plus VAT per annum. This covers your membership package and gives you one listing in the Heritage Register in addition to a whole host of membership benefits. Your listing in the Heritage Register is one of the most versatile listings available and designed to give a complete overview of your company’s activities.
For those without a website the listing is a perfect start to getting your business online as it incorporates all basic website functionalities. For those with an online presence already, direct links to your site will increase your search engine rankings and direct targeted traffic straight to your door.
Your listing will be featured in our business categories which enables users to search and find you, quickly and easily. You may be listed in as many categories as are required to best define your core business activities. Use our interactive search tool to find out what categories are available.
Listings are accessible 24/7 and an unlimited amount of text can be uploaded at any time. There is no restriction on the amount of categories your business can be listed in, and you can upload an unrestricted amount of images to your photo gallery.
All listings are featured periodically around the website for extra exposure. You can access your account by signing in and uploading content is made easy with a simple online system. Tutorials are provided to new members and assistance given where required.

The Application Process
The online application form is clearly laid out and specifically designed to be quick and simple to complete, using a series of tick and dropdown boxes. It only takes 15 minutes of your time (on average) and will give us all the information we require to vet your application. Our membership fees are £380 + VAT per annum

Our Vetting Process
As a measure to safeguard our site users and maintain the integrity of the Heritage Register, we vet all applications. Our primary concern is to ensure the businesses and their services, are genuine and have the appropriate skills and experience to work on pre 1919 period and listed buildings.
Your company status with Companies House (if applicable)
Your memberships of relevant organisations
That you have been established for at least two years
That you have a minimum of £1 million public liability insurance
That you have signed our terms & conditions & code of practice
That you have provided a minimum of 2 professional references
As part of the process we will also consider your experience, qualifications and membership of relevant organisations. We then contact at least 2 of your professional references and conduct a short interview with them over the phone.
Once your application has been approved, you will be notified by email and we will then send you our member welcome pack. The pack includes an invoice, ProjectBook registered business logo, login details and instruction manual for your account.
Our membership co-ordinator will then contact you, to discuss how we can help you best to promote your business in the coming year and which of our initiatives will benefit your company the best.
You are also able to call or email anytime within normal working hours, where we are available to offer assistance. We are here to help you get the most from your membership and are always happy to help in any way we can.
Editing and adding content to your listing
The content of your listing is unrestricted to enable viewers to get a complete overview of your business activities and make an informed decision.
When you login to your My ProjectBook account for the first time, you will find your listing has been populated automatically with selected information, gathered from the application form, which forms the Summary tab.
You can now edit this information and add unlimited additional content at any time to compliment your entry. It is like having your own website, which is always up to date!
