All entries cost £380 plus VAT per annum. We select information you submitted on your application form to create your basic entry which provides a comprehensive overview of your business profile. At no extra cost, you have the freedom to add unlimited additional information/photos etc. to compliment your entry. It is like having your own website, which is always up to date! All content can be edited 24/7, by logging into My ProjectBook.

This tool will help you discover the categories in the Register that best describe your business. It is identical to the tool used in the application form. After you have finished, scroll the page to learn more about the Products Direcrtory, or if you are happy with your selection, you have the option to register now - simply press the "Sign Up" button. The categories you have selected are automatically saved and will speed up your sign up process.

As a ProjectBook member, you are able to securely access My projectBook anytime to maintain or add as much information as you like to your entry. You will also be able to view statistics on who's been viewing and bookmarking your entry, receive enquiries, post jobs and much more.

Messages - view enquiries on our secure mail system.
Listings - maintain your entry and add photos, awards, new clients etc.
Jobs - post jobs and receieve enquiries.
Transactions - print records and view your transactions.
Recommend - tell us about other reliable businesses you have experienced and for each one that signs up we'll credit your account with £15.00.

Our application form is compact and guides you through a simple three step process. It only takes about 20 minutes of your time and will give us all the information we require to screen your application for suitability for inclusion in the National Register. Payment can be made by cheque or using our secure credit/debit card facilities.

The Application Process

Step 1: Supply business contact details & general profile.
Step 2: Select categories.
Step 3: Accept terms & conditions & code of practice & pay membership subscription.

As a measure to safeguard our site users and maintain the integrity of The National Register, we vet all applications. Our primary concern is to ensure the businesses and their services, are genuine and have the appropriate skills and experience to work on pre 1919 period and listed buildings.

The application form takes about 20 minutes to complete and is designed to give us as broad a picture of your business as possible. On completion of your application, a member of our team will make sure the information provided is complete and confirm the following:

Your company status with Companies House (if applicable).
VAT status with HMRC (if applicable).
Memberships of organisations.
That you have been established for at least two years.
That you have a minimum of £1 million public liability insurance
That you have signed our terms & conditions.
That you have provided two professional/client references.

As part of the process we will also consider your experience, qualifications and membership of relevant organisations. We will then contact at least one of your professional references to find out the following:

In what capacity do you know the registrant?
How long have you known your business?
How would you best describe the skills and quality of work this business offers? Excellent | Good | Adequate | Poor
How would you best describe their organisational skills? Excellent | Good | Adequate | Poor
How would you best describe the overall level of service they provide? Excellent | Good | Adequate | Poor

Once we have established that your business and services are appropriate for the National Register and confirmed by satisfactory references, your entry will be activated online(usually within 48 hours)and we will confirm by email.

Please Note: To maintain continuity, all applications are finally assessed by James Mott (ProjectBook MD). He has worked for over 22 years in the Industry as a skilled craftsman, contractor and consultant, and as the most experienced member of the team takes overall responsibility and oversees the vetting of all applications.
