I have been working as a cabinet maker and restorer of furniture for twenty years. I trained in woodwork with my uncle, a master carpenter, who was an apprentice with Harrods and steeped in the traditions of English Cabinet making. He taught me my hand skills but more importantly taught me that the only standard of work is the highest standard. Before moving to Devon I was owner and managing director of Phoenix Antique Furniture Restoration Limited in London. I work mainly for private customers and am fortunate to have a loyal group of private collectors whose furniture I enjoy looking after. I also work for a number of prestigious institutional and commercial clients and have had the pleasure of working on furniture of the highest quality.
