With 45 years experience making timber sash windows, the company has designed an innovative bespoke slimline sash which accepts a 24mm double glazed unit (1.7 U-value) and is internally glazed to eliminate exterior bead rot. Box Sash Willys has used a single glazed 45 mm sash, chamfering the outside profile to achieve a puttyline effect. The box frames are tongue and grooved, the box depth is still 135mm and slimline glazing bars are used. Box Sash Willy’s double glazed sashes can be used in existing box frames. A refurbishment service is also offered.
