Professional evaluation of HLF or other grant funded heritage projects.Description:
The Maintenance Co-operatives Project is a ground breaking initiative from the Society for the Protection of Ancient Building’s and is the successor to their award winning Faith in Maintenance programme. Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the project's aim is to build capacity and promote best practice through creating an active network of local groups, in five regional areas, who can confidently and effectively carry out essential preventative maintenance at their local places of worship.
The project offers free training, online resources (our website is on its way!), access to professional advice and a sociable network of volunteers to share resources, skills and ideas. Participants will also be invited to the annual Maintenance Cooperatives Project conference each November as part of National Maintenance Week.
