Capstone Consulting Engineers was established in 2001 and is committed to good quality 'conservation engineering' led solutions that best protect and enhance historic buildings. The director, John Ruddy CEng MICE MIStructE, a Conservation Accredited Engineer, takes a 'hands on' role with all of our work. He is a chartered Civil and Structural Engineer with a passion for historic buildings. He has trained with the Prince of Wales Institute of Architecture and obtained a Master of Arts in Conservation of Historic Buildings from the University of York.
