Adrian Cox Associates was formed in 1992 with the aim of being a centre of excellence for structural engineering design and conservation of historic buildings with civil engineering design in a building context. Success in building conservation was to be assisted by full involvement in new build work in order to fully benefit from the latest techniques such as advances in computer software. This is in contrast to some other specialists in this field who work only on historic buildings.
