Recclesia Ltd specialises in the conservation and restoration of churches, listed buildings and ancient monuments. Acting as principal contractor, our team has over forty years of experience in specialist works to some of the UK's most outstanding buildings.
Recclesia are trusted to work on the most special of buildings, applying our many years of knowledge and experience to projects involving a vast array of traditional skills. The company works with conservation architects, church councils, local authorities and clients with historically significant buildings to carry out conservation and restoration, apply new uses to buildings, or a combination of several techniques.
James & his team have worked on such a variety of buildings, from Norman churches, cathedrals, medieval monuments and castles to Tudor alms houses, cruck-frame barns, timber framed manor houses and mansion houses. We have restored glass houses by Paxton, arts and crafts buildings by Voysey, windows by Morris, Burne-Jones and Kempe, and churches by Scott.
