Cold Hanworth Forge and Blacksmithing School together with Wyvern Forge in Gloucestershire were contracted by NEJStevenson Ltd (Cabinet Makers to the Queen) to manufacture ironwork for Medieval furniture destined for the Great Tower of Dover Castle. English Heritage have taken Dover Castle back in time to how it would have looked in the twelfth century, the reign of Henry II. Craftsmen throughout the country worked in many materials in order to complete this huge project, designed by historians and archeologists.
