Ellen Leslie provides historical research services for architects, property developers, local authorities, surveyors historic building consultants and other professionals.

A post-graduate in the Conservation of Historic Buildings from the Architectural Association's School of Architecture, Ellen researches and writes the historical and architectural history of buildings to support Planning Applications, PPS5 Responses, Conservation Area Statements and Conservation Management Plans.

Research is carried out using primary and secondary sources, through site visits, local, national and commercial archives as well as utilising desk-based sources.

Ellen Leslie also researches and writes house histories for the private home owner.
