Martin Ashley Architects is an established Practice specialising in the repair and conservation of historic and Listed Buildings and scheduled Ancient Monuments, as well as new design within the setting of historic buildings and sites.
As lead consultants we have worked on many significant buildings in London and the Home Counties for prominent clients including the Royal Household, Historic Royal Palaces, the Crown Estates, English Heritage, the National Trust and private individuals.
We have extensive experience in all aspects of work relating to historic buildings including improvement and adaptive re-use, alterations and extensions, Conservation Plans, Building Strategies and Strategic Planning, Quinquennial Reports, Condition Surveys and specialist consultancy in Expert Witness cases.
The Practice and Company is led by three Partners who are supported by a team of experienced architects, surveyors, designers, technical assistants and management staff.
Additionally we draw regularly on other specialist resources for particular project work, including archival research, archaeological investigation and CDM Co-ordinator services. Due to the highly specialised nature of our work, the Partners take a direct and personalised involvement in all projects.
